Mr. Kachin focuses his practice on civil litigation, fiduciary litigation, probate administration, estate disputes and litigation, plus estate planning. He is a former infantry Marine and brings the same diligence and attention to detail to his legal practice.

Prior to attending college, Alexandre served as an infantry Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. During two tours in Iraq, Alexandre received a Navy Achievement Medal and a Purple Heart.

After his service in the Marines, Alexandre attended Georgia State University where he majored in History with a minor in Political Science. Alexandre graduated in less than four years with a Distinction in Major. In 2012, Alexandre returned to Georgia State University to study law. He attended GSU College of Law in the evenings while simultaneously working as a full-time paralegal in a boutique estate planning law firm.

Since joining Lindsey & Lacy, PC, Alexandre has gained valuable experience by assisting the firm’s partners with litigating several complex cases involving commercial contract disputes, conflicts between small business, and general civil litigation. He is now a partner with Lindsey & Lacy, PC. Alexandre served as lead counsel and obtained favorable outcomes in cases involving probate contests, contract disputes, and fiduciary litigation.

As a Marine combat infantryman, Alexandre learned how important thorough and knowledgeable planning can be to future success. Just as in combat, achieving clients’ wishes through wills or trusts involves careful analysis of multiple possible unwanted outcomes. Alexandre helps his clients understand what could go wrong with an estate plan and what tools are available to achieve the desired outcome. He uses his legal knowledge and experience in probate litigation to help clients craft estate plans that will leave a lasting legacy rather than conflict amongst heirs.

He now lives in Senoia with his wife, two daughters, a rescue cat, and a boxer dog. When not working, Alexandre enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors.
